FAQ
Through light and precise touch , I assist in the relief of chronic pain , trauma and bodily tension , allowing the natural healing process to unfold, promoting the regulation of the nervous system and improving general well-being .Over the years of practice, I have developed a method of observation, palpation and relief of muscular tensions created in reaction to stressful or traumatic events (physical, emotional, chemical…) in the different systems of the body (musculoskeletal, nervous, visceral, hydro-electrolytic).
Mindful EatingAvoid heavy meals : it's best not to eat in the two hours before your appointment. An empty stomach allows your nervous system to function fully during the session.Dress comfortablyWear comfortable clothing : soft cotton garments, such as a t-shirt and loose-fitting pants, are ideal. This outfit allows your body to relax without any restrictions. The session will take place in the comfortable clothes you are wearing. Remember to remove any chains or necklaces.Arrive 5 minutes earlyTake your time : arriving a little early will allow you to settle in comfortably. This will help you relax and begin your session calmly.
Connect with your bodyListen to yourself gently : pay attention to what's happening inside you. Do this without expectation, judgment, or analysis. Reconnecting with your body is part of the healing process. You also have the right to doze off if you feel the need. Your comfort is essential.Choose your communication styleExpress yourself or remain centered : you can share what the session is bringing you with me, or choose to remain silent and focused on yourself. Both options are equally valid and respected.
After your sessionLighten your scheduleSchedule free time slots : avoid overloading your day with demanding activities. Your body needs time to integrate the benefits of your workout.Respect your need for restListen to your body's signals : you may feel deep relaxation or an intense need to sleep.Expect possible changesPay attention to changes : in the days following your session, you may experience physical or emotional discomfort while your body integrates the work.Avoid strenuous activitiesOpt for gentle movements : both physically and socially, it's best to avoid intense activities. Gentle movements and moments of calm are much more beneficial in the days following a workout.
